The Leica Q2 is a 47 megapixel full frame camera, which by default produces a 3:2 aspect ratio image of size 8368 x 5584 pixels from its 28mm lens.
It also offers the option to crop to 35mm, 50mm and 75mm equivalents – this is by overlaying crop guide lines in the EVF and back screen, which is applied to any JPEGs made in camera, although if RAW files are selected, these are at the full 28mm.
These crop modes produce files as follows:
35mm: 47 x (28/35)^2 = 30mpx = 6704 x 4472
50mm: 47 x (28/50)^2 = 14.7mpx = 4688 x 3128
75mm: 47 x (28/75)^2 = 6.5mpx = 3136 x 2096
